Lazy people are likely to say truth

It has been no secret that laziness has found the simplest ways to accomplish a task. The reasons are well understood from the sentence itself. But during the pandemic (I know this word makes everyone puke-ish now) I have seen a lot of people to change their persona. For an instance, I am lazy. You can tell me 1000 times to get up from my bed and even for the 1001th time, I will try to accomplish a task from that very place. But with the lack of house-helps, it has been challenging to do stuff from that one sweet spot of yours. So what can be another way out from chores?

Tell. The. Truth. “Do the dishes.” “I don’t want to do that. You wanna pay the bills? Done. Order food? Done. Earn money? Done.” It’s that simple. It is not tough to bring out the truth from lazy people like me. We won’t take the pain to make arguments of not doing work. Let’s take another instance. “Did you get the groceries I asked for?” Now, the general populace who didn’t go as to do something of their own will, will make arguments. “No, the shop was closed.” “You could’ve gone to another shop?”. “No. The petrol (gas) in my vehicle was low and the gas station wasn’t nearby that area.” Now, you know what other arguments you will make consequently. But how would I (lazy ones) react? “No, I didn’t go as it was such a pain to my body.” Simple truth.

It might be rude sometimes but we don’t care. At least you guys are getting the truth. There will be no rendezvous accounted in our life. Why? It’s mendokusē (troublesome). If I can just go to a place (be it even unaccounted), I can just do all the chores which are pending. It’s lesser pain as I won’t have to leave my house. You won’t find us in personal meetings as well. The reason being, if I am leaving my house to meet one person then I can meet 7–8 people at the same time and I won’t have to speak much as there will be so many people speaking.

There are so many examples given above which states the reason on why lazy people tell truth. But there are adverse circumstances too. For an instance, my mom asks me on the phone, “Have you eaten food from the canteen?” Now, I won’t go to the canteen to take a coupon, go to the counter, ask for food, then sit down to eat that and then pack myself from there. It’s tiresome. So, I will just ask my friends over there to bring me a juice as I won’t have to get up from my bench even to wash my hands. To all this procedure, I will answer my mom over the call as, “Yes, I ate.”

For other instances, ask yourself these questions and you will figure out if you are lazy or not and eventually you will encounter a lot of instances. We lazy people are a gift to our parents as we won’t even give them a trouble to snoop around for protecting us. We would simply sleep on the couch in front of them the WHOLE DAMN DAY!!

Now, find the other instances on your own and share some with me. My hands are hurting now. Sayonara. Bye-bye.
