Learning to un-learn

The culture states the word “learn” but why hasn’t it ever proposed the theory of “un-learn”? The primary learning structure suggests mankind’s neutral view in order to gain a point of view. Hence, in order to learn something one must first un-learn all the point of views that has been residing in the mind. Basically, from my perspective it’s just replacing a statement with another in the mind.

However, if the process was that easy then people would have been free from all the worldly pleasures persisting. All the problems arising from the mind would be solved in seconds if it was that easy to un-learn i.e. to change a perspective. For an instance, parents scold their kids when they cry. But how would the child know if crying is a sad emotion when it will be expressed as anger? Not that I am preaching Parenting 101 but it’s just my perspective. Why are those perspectives not normalized which are slightly off-culture?

There are so many things which can be covered in this article but I will leave that to your imagination. After all, individual perspective develops when one is isolated from a group (not literally). I developed my perspective for things when I started looking out of the box.

As the “modern people” suggests that girls wearing short clothes are giving invitation to unfortunate events, my perspective here is not wearing a saree. Why? It’s not like I don’t like Indian clothes, I do but I inferred that from the statement given. That statement built my perspective. Saree reveals a lot of skin, doesn’t it? Is it inviting? As per “modern people”, No. I got isolated from that for a moment and I got the thought. Now, I preach the people the same and that thought will pass on. Thereby, creating more groups with same perspective. Then why do we say, “People listen to herds and don’t think of their own.” Do you allow? No.

Since the beginning it has been thought to accept what is written in scriptures and nothing else. It is not wrong but the intensity with which it is said, matters. The concept of being in a group has become so intense that people will throw their point of views in trash just because they want to feel “included”. Those who doesn’t believe in that are considered eccentric. Why so? Who gave this point of view? On the basis of what? The above was a mere one instance, if you got more let me know!

DISCLAIMER: The article displays just a set of words which has nothing to do with anything such as person, country, community (and beyond that). If it is relatable to any specific incident, it is a mere coincidence. I apologize for any hard feelings expressed in this article as the intention wasn’t that.
